Inputs and Outputs for factories

I know currently that you can configure your factories to have set inputs that you type yourself, but it would be cool if the factories would calculate them itself (which it does) but then also automatically list it as an input to the factory. Or it could be like how you connect belts to the storage containers but instead they are labeled input and output containers (which both only have one option for a connecting belt) so the system knows at what point stuff enters and exits the factory. Especially instead of listing possibly other things as outputs when they are really just unfinished production lines.
